Instead we ate in the Diner restaurant, which was fine. Looking in the restaurant, only about 4 tables were occupied. We were a little disappointed in this, I didn't realize reservations were needed. We tried to eat at the Italian restaurant in the hotel, but when we went at approx 4:30, we were told we needed a reservation and they only had openings at 8:00. Perhaps they have updated some in recent years? Not sure, but I couldn't have asked for a better room. I don't know how some reviews can describe the rooms as drab and in need of updating. We had tickets to a show, Jim Gaffigan, which was fantastic. This was our first visit to Soaring Eagle and will definitely return. Since the gambling age here is 18, when she comes to visit from college, we usually hit a casino for an evening.
The trip consisted of myself and my 19 year old daughter.
Stayed here for one night, and really enjoyed my stay.
